Recently graduated from the Institute of Food Technology in Ste-Hyacinthe ornamental horticulture, Claude Riel founded with his wife Monique "Greenhouses Riel" in 1971.

Claude's passion for horticulture date of his young age, there was initiated by his father on the family farm that had a small greenhouse where he grew a few varieties of flowers there fifty years.

Through perseverance, work and experimentation, "Greenhouses Riel" now operate over sixty is grown in greenhouses where a wide variety of ornamental flowers.

Marie-Andrée Riel joined his parents in managing the family business, thus ensuring the next generation to third generation.
